Chiropractic adjustment — also called spinal manipulation — involves moving a joint beyond its usual range of motion but not beyond the range of motion the joint is designed to move, anatomically speaking. You often will hear a popping or cracking noise during chiropractic adjustment as the joint is manipulated.
Spinal Decompression Therapy is a non-surgical, non-chiropractic therapy to relieve back pain and other problems associated with spinal disc injuries. Compressed discs lead to two major problems: a bulge or herniation pressing on a nerve; and brittleness of the disc. The problem is often perpetuated because the compressed disc restricts the flow of nutrients to itself which is needed to heal.
As a patient we teach you special “blueprint” exercises designed just for you to help strengthen and correct your unique problem. These exercises can be performed in the comfort of your own home and can improve the effectiveness of your spinal correction. We will teach you specific exercises and stretches to help your body stay in balance and in health.
Soft Tissue Therapy

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) is idiopathic median neuropathy at the carpal tunnel. The pathophysiology is not completely understood but can be considered compression of the median nerve traveling through the carpal tunnel.
Lower Back Pain
Low back pain (or lumbago), is a common musculoskeletal disorder affecting 80% of people at some point in their lives. In the United States it is the most common cause of job-related disability, a leading contributor to missed work, and the second most common neurological ailment — only headache is more common.
Physical therapy (or physiotherapy), often abbreviated PT, is a health care profession. Physical therapy is concerned with identifying and maximizing quality of life and movement potential within the spheres of promotion, prevention, treatment/intervention, habilitation and rehabilitation. This encompasses physical, psychological, emotional, and social well being.
Nutritional counseling is a type of assessment made which analyzes various health needs in regard to diet and exercise. A nutritional counselor helps people to set achievable health goals and teaches various ways of maintaining these goals throughout their lifetime.
We strongly recommend physical activity, nutrition and smoking-cessation counseling as an important strategy for implementing our primary and secondary prevention guidelines. We believe that healthcare providers should deliver such counseling systematically, just as they would deliver comprehensive diabetes education programs.
